I still can't believe I'm training for this half-marathon. It's just not something I thought I would commit to. As much as I like the idea of running a half-marathon, it HURTS. Good thing I have a great support system and a few amazing friends who are training with me.
After seeing a great motivational post from Kori at
Blonde Episodes last night, I found this picture on Pinterest that cracked me up AND motivated me at the same time.
Off to run, hope everyone has a great Tuesday! Yaaay for a short week!! :)
Wish you all the best in the Marathon. Have a great Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm impressed! I managed 5K for the first time this autumn, and I'm more than happy with that:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it for me! I used to do 6-8 miles every day and then discovered I had a bulging disc in my lower back and had to stop. :( I can only do 5 miles at a time now and only twice a week. I miss it so much!
ReplyDeletei am not a runner. like the only time i would run is if someone was chasing me. oh and the one time i was walking both of our dogs (now almost 60lbs each) and they decided to chase after a rabbit. that was fun. but i WISH i could run!!!! i walked a 5k once =) good job girl!!!
ReplyDeletep.s. if i ran, i would like to wear what this girl is wearing.

Good luck with the marathon, you are my hero. I don't think I will ever have the energy to do that in this lifetime! Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! It's tough work, but it will be worth it. I did a 5k last year and the whole time I was running it, I was like, why am I doing this? But in the end it felt so good to know I accomplished it! Good luck!
